Hi everyone!
We regret to inform all the LAPIS holders and supporters that we will be canceling the development of project (SkyPortal) with effect from now (date of this announcement) due to different reasons which I will list in the next paragraph.
As you all know (those who have been following the project), we did a presale back in August, 2021 and we were able to collect up to $23k from all the participants. From the collected funds, we did a website redesign, we built a staking portal and as well as hiring a graphic designer. We paid a third party person (who we got from a website called “Fivver” to do both the work for us because none us of all team members had the skills to develop any of the above. The same guy who claimed to develop for us the above things, was one we used to develop for us the game (shooting game SkyPortal) and was paid fully by one of our team members. That same team member was the one who was in charge of project technical stuffs because he was the only one who had a technical background. He was able to build for us the “LAPIS” smart contract but of course he also didn’t have the skills to build a game, staking portal or website designing so we used third parties. Our only technical guy was the one who controlled the contract (LAPIS), did all the minting of tokens for the presalers, and other token distributions because none of the rest of the team members was able to do the above.
LEAVING OF THE TECHNICAL GUY
Upon seeing that the project was struggling financially and technically, our only technical guy left the project, leaving us with nothing to do because none of us (remaining guys) had any technical skill. I guess we chose the wrong field and project to work on. We neither had any skill how to build, update or access a smart contract nor how it works. We put all our trust in our technical guy who in the end left us alone with no one to help. We were a team of three people working on the project.
FUNDS REMAINING AND THE STATUS OF THE GAME
After paying for all the expenses listed in paragraph 1, we remained with only 1766 cUSD, which can be seen in address below

We paid our hired game developer (from Fivver) and paid him $10k to develop for us a game (SkyPortal) but he just copied some of the games online and changed a few things and delivered to us. Since none of us had any gaming background we didn’t know what was going until we started installing the beta test in our phones and it was just crap. Our only technical guy also didn’t know what was going on, and by the way he was the only one in charge of hiring these kind guys including the game dev from Fivver. After observing the delivered beta from the guy, we thought it didn’t even make sense to share it with the community because it was just bad, is all I can say.

REFUND TO THE PRESALERS
As you all have seen, we are only remaining with 1766 cUSD from the more than $20k collected from the presale. So we would like to distribute it back to the Presalers because it was their funds that we used to do the little work we did, but unfortunately we didn’t meet the expectations and we feel sorry to everyone who believed in us, invested their hard earned money, but ended up disappointed. Again we are very sorry to say that we will be closing the project with immediate effect.
